Position Summary:

The President of the INTEGRIS Foundations is responsible for leading and directing all strategic philanthropic and board governance activities including development and implementation of fundraising policies and procedures, board development, fundraising, investment coordination, volunteer management, and strategic planning of INTEGRIS Health Foundations.

Essential Functions:


* Develops, monitors, and executes a strategic plan for fundraising.

* Builds and strengthens relationships with the community and relevant boards and community groups.

* Directs strategic planning with the Chief Executive Officer, Presidents of System Hospitals, Department Heads, Medical Directors, and Board Members of applicable foundations to prioritize and clarify funding needs.

* Meets with and cultivates prospects/constituents to ask for contributions.

* Attends community functions to establish relationships with constituents.

* Represents INTEGRIS Health to the public, its many constituencies, healthcare organizations, and professional associations as well as governmental agencies.

* Oversees operations budget of the Foundation to ensure compliance with organizational fiscal requirements and goals.

* Oversees Foundation staff to include hiring, development, education, and disciplinary actions as necessary.

* Maintains an understanding of current philanthropic and public relations interests of individuals, foundations or corporations, acquired through regular contact with those individuals and organizations.

* Directs the planning and execution of fundraising events including an annual awards/recognition dinner and gala event with major entertainment.

* Oversees the coordination of committees of volunteers for fundraising programs and events. Directs and monitors the utilization and recognition of volunteers.

* Maintains the highest ethical standards including stewardship of restricted funds (gifts, grants and investment income) and the appropriate distribution of funds according to Foundation policy and legal requirements.

* Responsible for planning and directing special projects as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.

Accountability:

Reports to the CEO. Accountable for the highest quality of services throughout area(s) of responsibility.
