Position Summary:

The Paralegal serves within the Legal Services Department of INTEGRIS Health, Inc. and provides support to the Physician Enterprise attorney. Prepares documents, performs legal research, collaborates with the INTEGRIS Provider Services and Integration ' Physician Recruitment and Contracting Office and assists the Physician Enterprise attorney in physician and advanced practice provider contracting matters.

Essential Functions:

The Paralegal responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Drafts, reviews, revises and finalizes legal documents (including but not limited to Employment Agreements and Amendments, Consulting Agreements, Call and Medical Director Agreements, Part-Time Leases, and letters) to support the Physician Enterprise at the direction of the Physician Enterprise attorney. Supports INTEGRIS hospitals, INTEGRIS Medical Group (IMG), Nazih Zuhdi Transplantation Institute (NZTI), and INTEGRIS Cardiovascular Physicians, LLC. (ICP) with contract requests for both employed and independent physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

* Communicates contract terms and prepares documents and amendments related to IMG and ICP part-time lease agreements in coordination with Legal Services and Realty.

* Revises and maintains forms and templates for Physician Enterprise agreements.

* Prepares memos and correspondence.

* Assists with conference call scheduling and facilitation with external counsel and internal resources.

* Prepares and assists in letter preparation for attorney review.

* Assists with review and distribution of fiscal year compensation plans for physicians and APPs.

* Assists with responses to internal and external audits.

* Assists attorney(s) and clients with execution and approval of agreements, file management, and utilization of Legal Services databases, including the contract management database.

* Completes job duties and serves customers efficiently and resourcefully to result in customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.

* Exercises appropriate judgment regarding when to seek assistance/approval from assigned attorney.

* Maintains confidentiality of information of highly sensitive nature concerning business and employment matters.

Qualifications:


* Paralegal Certification; or Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and two or more years of legal work experience; or Associate Degree from an ABA-approved paralegal education program; or high school diploma and five or more years of legal work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Previous legal work experience preferred.

* Previous work experience proofreading and drafting legal documents.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

* This job requires the incumbents to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current State Drivers License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.

* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
