INTEGRIS Health Edmond, located just off I-35, a few minutes north of Oklahoma City, is a state of the art, full service hospital with 40 inpatient beds that include 24 private medical surgical rooms, a 10-bed womens unit and six intensive care suites. The surgical department of the hospital includes four general surgical rooms and endoscopy procedure rooms with 12 private pre/post op outpatient rooms.


Services also include a 17-bed Emergency department, a cardiac catheterization lab, interventional radiology, full imaging and radiology services. An outpatient pharmacy, on-site physician clinics and outpatient labs are just steps away in two medical office buildings on the hospital campus.

Position Summary:

The Physician provides direct patient care. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Essential Functions:

The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis

* Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing

* Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms

* Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee

* Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team

* Ensures fiscal viability of the practice

* Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.

The Physician is responsible for patients.

Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
