INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is looking for a BC/BE Neurologist to join an established group of experienced Neurologists.

INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Neurological services including specialized services for Neuromuscular Diseases, Cognitive disorders, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke. INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center is a quaternary community-based hospital which has an inpatient general Neurology service with active Cardiology and Transplant departments. The James R. Daniel Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center is located on our campus providing highly specialized stroke services and endovascular therapy to our inpatients. 


Outpatient services are provided at our INTEGRIS Neurology clinic within a building adjoining Baptist Medical Center.

Position Summary:

The Physician provides direct patient care. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Essential Functions:

The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis

* Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing

* Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms

* Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee

* Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team

* Ensures fiscal viability of the practice

* Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.


The Physician is responsible for patients.

Environmental Conditions:

Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
