INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is looking for board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join an established group employed by the hospital. 


INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center serves as the hub and flagship of INTEGRIS Health. Its the only Oklahoma-owned, designated Magnet hospital for excellence in nursing services, and has received the #1 hospital ranking from U.S. News & World Report multiple times.


INTEGRIS Baptist is a center of leading-edge medicine, housing nine Centers of Excellence, including a full-service heart hospital, a comprehensive transplant institute and one of the nations foremost burn centers.

Practice Environment Highlights:
  • Level II Trauma, advanced cardiac programs (LVAD, ECMO), 24 hour cath lab, certified stroke center, burn center with hyperbaric chamber, bariatric surgery, transplant center (liver, kidney, heart), pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, interventional radiology
  • 36 Bed ER 12 Bed MDU
  • 24/7 double coverage with physicians
  • 10 physician shifts per day
  • 8, 9 and 10 hour shifts
  • Scribes

Position Summary:

The Physician provides direct patient care. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Essential Functions:

The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis

* Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing

* Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms

* Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee

* Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team

* Ensures fiscal viability of the practice

* Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.


The Physician is responsible for patients.

Environmental Conditions:

Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
