Northeastern State University invites applications for a full time, non-tenure track, 9-month, Clinical Assistant Professor position in the Department of Health Professions-Nursing on the Muskogee campus; physical presence on campus is required. 

Responsibilities 

Perform program chair responsibilities.
Teaching in the online RN to BSN and MSN programs.
Maintain knowledge of the profession, healthcare, and content areas of teaching assignments 
Maintain office hours consistent with institutional policies. 
Engage in professional and scholarly activities, e.g., teaching, discovery, integration, &/or application appropriate to the clinical assistant professor rank. 
Engage in professional, departmental, college, and university activities; and involvement in university and community. 

Experience

Previous nursing and online teaching experience, strong leadership, research, or community experience, and computer skills. 

Education

Masters in Nursing and a doctorate degree in Nursing or relevant area preferred
ABD may be considered if completion of doctorate within one year of start date. 
Doctorate required for rank and salary of Clinical Assistant Professor.
