What You Will Do Primarily covering patients with critical illness in multiple critical care units. The majority of coverage being in the cardiac, trauma, and neuro intensive care units. Works in collaboration with the intensivist to provide a high level of care. Work with a growing team 25 physicians and 9 ACNPs Skills needed include insertion of central venous lines, arterial lines, intubations, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertion, and paracentesis is a plus. Will teach on the job if no procedural experience. Experience preferred will consider new graduates with critical care clinical experience Acute care certificate required AGACNP-BC or ACNPC-BC PA candidates also considered Weekend option part time every Saturday/Sunday days 0700-1900 What You Will Need Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: BLS Provider obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works. Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
